For the prelude Imre Szilas plays “Holy, Holy, Holy!  Lord, God Almighty” by Robert J. Hughes and “Grand Choeur in G,” by Théodore Salomé, for the Postlude.  The anthem is a new composition by Imre inspired by his reading of Revelation 4:6- “Sea of Glass.”

Following the Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell’s welcome and prayer, we begin with the second stanza of “Just as I Am, Without One Plea.”

Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell shares the announcements and prayer concerns then prays for the community and leads everyone in The Lord’s Prayer.

Following a brief musical interlude we share in a Responsive reading.

Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell leads us in our Prayer of Illumination then read the scripture lesson – selected verses from Lamentations 2.  Pastor Martha helps understand that a lament, as a prayer, is an expression of complaint, anger grief, despair and protest of God.  Our prayers may please God but they may also challenge God.

The service closes with the charge and benediction

Our services are filmed and edited by Robert Smith.
