Following the Westminster chimes the choir leads the congregation in singing Because He Lives, accompanied by the Westminster Trio (Imre Szilas – piano, Bowie Bossendorfer – drums, Twining Campbell – bass guitar)

Helen Darsie leads the congregation in the Prayer for Illumination and then reads the lesson: 2 Samuel 1:17-27.

Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell leads the congregation in the Prayers of the People and then everyone joins in saying the Lord’s Prayer.

The choir sings Jazz Kyrie, an original composition by Imre Szilas with Norm Haynes and Morris Dent singing at the beginning and the accompanied by the Westminster Trio.

Rev. Dr Twining Campbell offers the sermon based on David’s lament of Saul’s and Jonathan’s deaths.

After the Benediction the service concludes with Dr. Imre Szilas playing, Bolero de Concert by Louis Lefeburé-Wély, on the Westminster pipe organ.
