Following the welcome by Martha Campbell, the service  begins with Dr. Imre Szilas playing the Prelude, “Introitus” by Franz Liszt, and then moving directly into the opening of one of the great hymns of the faith: “For All the Saints.”

Following the chimes Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell shares the announcements and prayer concerns then leads the congregation in prayer and the Lord’s Prayer.

Then both pastors join together leading A Litany of the Saints where we remember all those members of the church who have died in the past year.  Time is given to remember all those important individuals who have died when they can be named out loud by all viewers.

The anthem is another hymn, “I Sing a Song of the Saints of God” with Dr. Szilas at the organ console.

Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell leads the congregation in the prayer of illumination and reads selected verses from Lamentations 4 then she preaches the fourth sermon in our series on Lamentations.  The writer of Lamentations wanted the world to know of the destruction of the once great city.  He wanted the depth of his grief, depression and bereavement to be known.

The service concludes with Dr. Szilas playing “Toccata” by Leon Boellman.

Our services are filmed by Robert Smith and are also available on our YouTube page and Facebook page.
