Posted on February 26, 2020 @ 9:41 pm

Following the Westminster Chimes Norm Haynes leads the congregation in the Prayer of Illumination then reads the scripture lesson: Matthew 17:1-9.

Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell prays for people in the congregation, the community and the world in the Prayers of the People then Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell leads everyone in The Lord’s Prayer.

The Choir sings Swing Low, Sweet Chariot accompanied by the Westminster Trio (Imre Szilas – piano, Bowie Bossendorfer – drums, and Twining Campbell – bass guitar).

Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell offers the sermon on the significance of the Transfiguration because most people failed to identify Jesus in his day and many fail today – even though he is in plain sight.  Martha finishes with the Charge and Benediction.

The service concludes with Dr. Imre Szilas playing “Fountain Reverie” by Percy Fletcher.
