August 2nd, 2020 The Windows of Westminster – 9 The Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell

Posted on August 2, 2020 @ 1:18 pm

Imre Szilas is on vacation so we begin with a simple accompaniment of “Here I Am Lord,” a song that is 40 years now.

Pastor Martha Campbell leads our prayers for:
College graduates who are struggling on many different levels.
Parents and school age children still trying to figure out where classes where will be in a few weeks – at the school or still at home.

Today, Deborah Owens leads us in the prayer of Illumination and reads the scripture lesson.

Our Prelude, Postlude and anthem are encore performances.  Imre Szilas opens the service with “Offertoire in E minor” by Louis Lefeburé-Wély and closes with “Fugue in C minor” by J.S. Bach.  The anthem is, “There Was a Rainbow Around the Throne” an original composition written by I Imre Szilas.

Today we continue our series, Windows of Westminster, as Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell talks about the Isaiah window.  Isaiah is the first of the Major prophets and is the most quoted prophet in the gospels.

Robert Smith continues to direct and film our services.  We are very grateful for the great video of our worship service today.
