Partners & Outreach

It’s who we are.

Partners & Outreach

At Westminster Presbyterian Church, mission is not just something we do, it’s who we are and whom we are called to be. Responding to God’s call to love one another, WPC partners with local organizations and supports various initiatives to support our community’s well-being. Whether through hands-on service, generosity, or shared collaboration, there’s a place for everyone (all ages) to get involved by serving, celebrating, and growing together.

Ministry Partners

Serving the Community Together

We are a dynamic community of faith called by Christ to care, share, and dare. By God’s grace we proclaim the gospel through worship, fellowship, and ministering to all God’s people.

Service Traditions

Seasonal Offerings

Ongoing, hands-on opportunities for individuals, families, and groups.

Thanksgiving

Meal Baskets
Each fall, our congregation gathers ingredients, assembles baskets, and shares meals with families across the Pasadena–Altadena community. This tradition brings warmth, dignity, and hope to neighbors during the holiday season.

Christmas

Toy Drive
In partnership with local organizations, WPC provides toys and gifts for children and families who might otherwise go without. Volunteers help collect, sort, and distribute items—spreading joy and kindness at Christmastime.

Easter

Baskets
In the spring, we prepare thoughtful baskets filled with treats and essentials for children and youth. It’s a simple, meaningful way to share God’s love and brighten a family’s Easter celebration.

Special Offerings

Denominational Seasonal Traditions for our congregation.

One Great Hour of Sharing

One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) gives us a way to share God’s love for justice. In fact, OGHS is the single largest way Presbyterians come together to work for a better world.

Peace and Global Witness

This includes an opportunity for congregations to join a church-wide effort to address and improve the worsening plight of the African-American male.

Pentecost

We celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit descending in a mighty rush of wind and flame to inspire the church’s proclamation of Christ’s rising and to empower its mission and ministry to the world.

Advent

“Advent” means “coming” or “arrival.” During the season of Advent, we celebrate Christ’s coming into the world and watch with expectant hope for his coming again.

Christmas Joy Offering

Coming soon
This provides support for church workers in their time of need and education for communities of color at Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color.

Ascension of the Lord

Forty days after the Resurrection of the Lord (Easter Sunday), we remember and celebrate the Ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven.

Community Events

Community Events & Local Partnerships

Strengthening the fabric of our neighborhood through connection and collaboration.

Artisan Fare

The Artisan Fare for Small Businesses is a joyful marketplace highlighting local makers, small businesses, and artists. Held seasonally throughout the year, these fairs help uplift entrepreneurs and foster vibrant community life.

Crop Hunger Walk

The Pasadena Area Crop Hunger Walk happens in the Fall. WPC proudly participates in this interfaith walk to raise funds for hunger relief locally and around the world. Walk with us, sponsor a team, or volunteer on event day.

Celebrating beauty, creativity, and belonging through shared experiences.

WPC’s historic sanctuary is home to a rich calendar of concerts and events that bring our community together. These events are free or low-cost and open to the public—excellent opportunities to invite friends, support local musicians, and enjoy the arts in a sacred space.
