Westminster Presbyterian Church stands as one of Pasadena’s most beloved architectural treasures — a French Gothic sanctuary of stone, glass, and light where the sacred and the beautiful meet.

Designed in 1927 by Marston, Van Pelt & Maybury, the church’s 150-foot tower rises above Lake Avenue as a beacon of peace. Inside, radiant Judson Studios stained glass and the tones of our historic Reuter pipe organ create an atmosphere of reverence, grace, and celebration.

Whether gathering to exchange vows, celebrate a life well-lived, or host a meaningful community event, Westminster offers an inspiring setting where artistry and faith come together.

Concerts, Community Events, & Filming

Where Art and Community Find a Home

Beyond worship, Westminster’s campus has long been a gathering place for Pasadena’s cultural and creative life. Our sanctuary and grounds have hosted concerts, film productions, lectures, and community celebrations, each benefiting from the church’s exceptional acoustics, architecture, and professional onsite coordination.

Use of church property for public or private events is subject to Westminster’s Facility Use License Agreement and must align with the church’s mission of hospitality, peace, and inclusion.

Commercial or filming inquiries may require insurance coverage and city permits in accordance with Pasadena and State of California regulations.

Parking & Production Access

Filming at Westminster

Westminster offers ample on-site parking in its secure lot, with additional street parking available along Lake Avenue and adjacent streets. For approved productions, designated load-in and staging zones can be arranged under staff supervision. All production crews, vehicles, and equipment must comply with WPC safety policies, local filming ordinances, and time block requirements. Large-scale productions may require additional insurance and advance coordination with WPC’s Event Coordinator. Facility Use

Event & Site Coordination

All events at Westminster are supported by WPC Event Coordination Team or WPC Site Representatives who ensure that every detail runs smoothly and that the sanctity and safety of the space are maintained.

Outside planners, vendors, and production teams are welcome but must defer to the WPC Event Coordinator and comply with all facility use policies, time blocks, and insurance requirements.

Our goal is simple: to make every gathering—whether joyful or solemn—a reflection of the love, beauty, and grace that define Westminster Presbyterian Church.
