About Our Venue

Ceremonies at Westminster

Established in 1906, Westminster Presbyterian Church stands as a historic Pasadena treasure.
Designed by Marston, Van Pelt & Maybury in 1927, the sanctuary features soaring stone arches, intricate woodwork, and stained glass crafted by Judson Studios.
The 150-foot tower rises over Lake Avenue, serving as a beacon of hope and celebration.
Inside, guests are surrounded by warm light from three magnificent Rose Windows and the sound of our Reuter Organ, with more than 2,600 pipes.

Facility Rental Includes

Your wedding rental includes everything needed for a meaningful, well-supported ceremony.

Use of the Sanctuary: for the ceremony and rehearsal
Two dressing rooms: for wedding parties
WPC Event Coordinator: to assist with logistics, rehearsal, and ceremony
Candles, microphones, and custodial services: included
Use of the church organist or pianist: for the ceremony and rehearsal
Clergy/Officiant: presiding offered by WPC’s pastoral staff
Premarital counseling: available through Westminster Center (three sessions encouraged)
Set-up and clean-up time: within a three-hour reservation window
Access to Facilities: use of designated church areas under staff supervision

Policies & Guidelines

We ask all couples to review and respect our venue policies, ensuring that your ceremony reflects both reverence and joy.

Only approved clergy may officiate; only approved musicians may perform; and all outside vendors must submit a signed vendor agreement and comply with WPC facility use policies prior to the event.

No open flames, confetti, or non-biodegradable items are permitted.

Décor setup and removal must occur within the reserved time block.

Flower petal use is permitted with a cleanup fee, adjusted by the amount used.

Rehearsal time is included and scheduled in advance with our coordinator.

Westminster Presbyterian Church maintains a no-smoking and no-drug policy. Alcohol is not permitted on church grounds, except for approved receptions in the Fellowship Hall with a valid alcohol license and insurance documentation.

Ample parking is available in the church lot and along nearby streets.

The sanctuary and fellowship hall are ADA accessible.
