Following the Westminster Chimes, in honor of Reformation Sunday, Dr. Imre Szilas plays A Mighty Fortress is Our God as adapted by Johann Pachelbel.

Susan Sulak leads the congregation in the Prayer for Illumination and then reads the Scripture lesson: 2 Samuel 7:1-19 where David is told he cannot build a temple for God.

The choir leads the congregation in singing I Love You So Much accompanied by the Westminster Trio (Imre Szilas – piano, Bowie Bossendorfer – drums, Twining Campbell – bass guitar).

Rev. Dr. Martha Campbell leads the congregation in the Prayers of the People and concludes with the Lord’s Prayer.

The Offertory is Allelujah written by Imre Szilas with Emese Mohai, soprano, as the soloist.  Emese is accompanied by the Westminster Trio.

Rev. Dr. Twining Campbell delivers the sermon highlighting the idea that just because something sounds good it must be God’s will.  David’s desire to build a temple was encouraged until God said, No.  Then David had to live with that.

The service concludes the Benediction then Imre Szilas plays Toccata and Fugue in D minor by J.S. Bach.
